The Northwest Cardigan Fanciers club was formed to gather together people interested in furthering our beloved Cardigans. We have a far flung membership, covering Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. You don’t need to own a Cardigan to join.

The Northwest Cardigan Fanciers has a Constitution and By-Laws and the attendant Code of Ethics. Our “PawPrints” newsletter is published quarterly. Ads and brags are encouraged and upcoming events are announced.

We hold a number of CWCCA/NWCF supported shows throughout the year and most recently our second annual Regional Specialty. There are some very handsome awards available at each one.

We alternate supported entries and meetings on opposite sides of our area in an attempt to reach the most members. It creates some difficulties, but it bands together a diverse group of people. When possible, we have potluck dinners that accompany our meetings and these are happy, social occasions.

The most important thing is that contacts and interactions between Cardigan people are made. Members make themselves available for information or advice. Friendships are begun and lots of Cardigan talk takes place.
